Hello everyone
If you have papaya at home, how do you usually consume it? You can eat it straight or make it processed. Since the papaya next to my house was ripe yesterday, today I will make coconut milk papaya ice. During the fasting month of Ramadan, my mother usually really likes making this coconut milk papaya ice. Because my late father really liked papaya, so that he wouldn't get bored of consuming it, my mother made papaya coconut milk ice.

A little story, when I wanted to make coconut milk papaya ice, my mother wanted to take the papaya first so she could use it as an addition to the rujak that she was eating at that time. But, because I wanted to make coconut milk papaya ice in quite hot weather with quite high temperatures, my mother gave me the papaya. I immediately prepared the tools and materials that I used.

  • 1 papaya
  • Sugar water
  • Raw coconut milk 400 ml (already added ½ tbsp salt)
  • Ice
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Glass

✿ In the ingredients used, I used raw coconut milk where the coconut was squeezed with cooking water and added ½ tbsp of salt to make the coconut milk tasty and sugar water that had been dissolved in hot water. Just let me see how to make it

  • First we cut the papaya into 2 parts

    IMG_1329.jpeg

  • Stir first before adding ice, if it's not sweet enough, you can add more sugar water
    IMG_1335.jpeg

  • Add ice to the glass
    IMG_1339.jpeg

  • also add papaya and coconut milk

You can also enjoy papaya coconut milk without adding ice. If someone can’t consume drinks with ice, you can serve them without ice. There's nothing different about the taste, maybe it's just not fresh enough when consumed during the day like I do. I served this at home because it was a very sultry and hot afternoon. And coincidentally, this coconut milk papaya ice is very suitable to eat on a day like this. What do you guys think about my coconut milk papaya ice? I think many people serve papaya like this. I think you will try it at home, don't forget to leave your short message on my blog and thank you for visiting Seli's blog today who always learns to cook with her mother.
