Chaotic Indian Train Life - A Short Overview

There is always a craze among Indians to take selfee along with train. And few are so mad that in their act of "darefool" devil they cross the limit so much that they losses their life. Anyway I maintain the required distance limits at the platform and taken this shot few days back.

Indian railway is one of the busiest traveeling mode among Indians. For longer distance as well as for shorter distance. Their is a differrnt life that you will experince inside the train and also outside. However the atmosphere remains the same too chaotic. Rsilway is the cheapest mode of transport and also one of the main source of government revenue.

Last few years there are lots of development happening, to ease the passenger problems and also travelling experince. It starts with crowd management to cleanliness. What used to be a crowded railway station, New Delhi has now one of the safest and cleanest railway platform.

I happen to be a frequent trail travellor. Earlier in used to commute from New Delhi to my native place which is approx 1400km. It used to take me 18 hrs of train journey So I was kind of habitual to this. Be it platform, or any enroute station. There is alwsys something to explore everywhere.

When the train halt at any station you can go out to take some fresh air. And also to buy some snacks item. These were readily available outside the train. However there is frequent hawkers as well inside the train as well. That supplies many snacks and cooked meals. These were Indian railway own kitchen that are maintained within the railway.

I wish I could share the internal view of the train that is really exciting. People chit chat, hawkers shout, music and many other things. Someone who would be traveling first time would go crazy but for a frequent traveler the atmosphere is like normal public place.

As things are improving day by day, many steps were taken for cleanliness. Especially the tracks where lot of garbage were disposed earlier. But now things have changed all staeps were taken to make them look better.

There is a differrnt world in a railway, railway platform, and railway tracks. There are so much take away from the railway life. But that does not stop people from covering long distances through train. Infact train is one of the economical mode of transport but little bit of time consuming.

Last few years I did not travel much, as I shifted back to my village. But surely whenever I go out, I will share some random shots and share the interesting life within the railway coaches.
