Happy Weekend hivers and friends. Today we are going to enjoy another delicious snacks of buttery 🧈 cookies 🍪 but this cookies is of sweet potatoes 🍠 base with pure chocolate of caramel bars added. to it for that touch of delicious taste .So as we are relaxing for the weekend, we can take out time to make this simple and straightforward cookies recipe to enjoy and delight ourselves.
Making and bringing the cookie 🍪 snacks to share and teach you gives me so much joy because I was inspired to make this cookies by @nurfay from her “Easy Way To Make Bakpia Bread From Sweet Potatoes”which she made in her own version adding also chocolate to it which attracted me to making it in my own version because of my love for sweet potatoes 🍠 and my younger daughter will love the pure chocolate of caramel that I have added to this cookies . So shout out to @nurfay for this content credit.
This recipe is simple, straightforward and needs just few ingredients . Its also a kind of snacks children will like, even more with the added pure chocolate bars cut into pieces.
Here I will show you the ingredients and steps I have used to prepare my own version of this sweet potato cookies inspired.
INGREDIENTS:
100 g of sweet potatoes
6 tablespoons of flour
1 tablespoon of corn 🌽 starch
2 teaspoon of premium sugar
1 teaspoon of margarine
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
2 bars of caramel chocolate
STEPS FOR PREPARATION
Step 1.
Preparing this sweet potato chocolate cookies 🍪, I will first peel , cut and square the potatoes 🍠
Step 2.
Then I will wash the potatoes , set it to cook, adding the salt for taste.
Step 3.
The potatoes have cooked to tender and drained . This I will leave to cool down before mashing it .
Step 4.
Once the potatoes 🍠cooled down, I went on to mash it using a fork. Mash until you obtain a soft tender smoothnesses.
Step 5.
I will now add the salt, sugar , margarine 🧈 and the flour to the mashed smooth potatoes . All these ingredients will mix into the mashed potatoes and form into a dough.
Step 6.
Added little corn 🌽 flour to hold more of the outside of the dough before cutting in small sizes
Step 7.
Here I introduced the caramel chocolate bars I will insert while molding the small cuts. This I also cut into small sizes.
Step 8.
Then I will mold the dough into a ball 🏀, flatten it with the palm of my hand, insert the chocolate 🍫 and mold it back
Step 9.
To bake I will flour the tray, place the mold cookies 🍪 on it and use the fork to press it flat to obtain a fine design sign on it. This I will in print one by one on all the molds.
And now that the molds are ready I take it into the preheated oven to bake at 200 Celsius for 40 - 50 minutes.
Its all ready and served with chocolate 🍫 touch on the surface since they were placed not right so deep in the molds.
We can enjoy this cookies 🍪 with drinks 🍹 of our choice and can also preserve them in the refrigerator for little hunger times
Hope this simple recipe I brought to share with you will be of help in your today’s kitchen roaster . Until next time friends. Blessings ❤️.

Wow, it's really nice to see you make a bipia like the one I made yesterday. However, with your version of the technique, it is so amazing that your daughter will definitely like it very much. Enjoy your weekend, have a nice day!
Aww. Thanks so much @nurfay for stopping by. And thank you for inspiring me to make this recipe in my own version. It tasted so delicious and yummy. I appreciate your lovely comments and support. Blessings.
Hi @sunshine29
You must be careful with the ingredients you use. Avoid including chocolates and candies in your recipes, as many of these products are not vegan.
Thank you @plantpoweronhive for the advice. However I try as much to use 100% plant based chocolates here on plantpowervegan like this very caramel chocolate I used but I will always take note. Blessings.
Another lovely recipe from you that looks awesome. I'd probably make it plain without the chocolate though.
Happy Weekend:)))
Aww. Thank you so much @millycf1976 for spending your time on my publish and supporting me. I would also have loved to bake it without the chocolate but just added it for the taste. Thank you once again. I appreciate. Enjoy your weekend
