Estuve practicando poses esta semana, y terminé con este genial Aladdin Photo studio. Hacía mucho que no dibujaba personajes Disney, pero el resultado de esta ilustración me superó.

I was practicing poses this week, and I ended up with this cool Aladdin Photo studio. It had been a long time since I drew Disney characters, but the result of this illustration surpassed me.

El Photo studio consiste en tomar una imagen de referencia y adoptar la pose de los personajes, y si se quiere, los colores de la misma, sin usar el conta gotas para obtener el color exacto. La idea es aprender a conseguir la mezcla de colores con sólo mirar la referencia. Eso fue lo que hice en este caso.➋ Base Color
The Photo studio consists of taking a reference image and adopting the pose of the characters, and if you want, the colors of it, without using the dropper to obtain the exact color. The idea is to learn how to get the mix of colors just by looking at the reference. That's what I did in this case.
➌ Detalles
Utilicé un pincel de textura, y en una mascara de recorte en modo multiplicar fui oscureciendo los contornos y agregando profundidad en lugares como el rostro, cuello, cabello, etc. En una capa superior, agregué el line sin ser un line art completo en todo el dibujo, sólo lo necesario para dividir los colores unos de otros.➌ Details
I used a texture brush, and in a clipping mask in multiply mode I was darkening the outlines and adding depth in places like the face, neck, hair, etc. On an upper layer, I added the line without being a complete line art in the whole drawing, just what is necessary to divide the colors from each other.
➍ Iluminación
Con el paso anterior sería suficiente, pero estoy obsesionada con el aspecto cálido que le aporta la iluminación a las ilustraciones, así que tenía que agregarlo (LOL). Sólo necesité un aerógrafo con un color amarillo, y una capa en modo superponer para logarlo.➍ lighting
The previous step would do the trick, but I'm obsessed with the warm look that lighting brings to illustrations, so I had to add it (LOL).
I only needed an airbrush with a yellow color, and a layer in overlay mode to achieve it.
Estoy muy contenta con el resultado, cada vez que termino una ilustración siento que mi progreso es notable desde que comencé en diciembre con la ilustración digital, y eso me llena de motivación.

I am very happy with the result, every time I finish an illustration I feel that my progress is remarkable since I started digital illustration in December, and that fills me with motivation.

Esta es un ilustración muy tierna, me gusta mucho que hayas adaptado tu estilo de dibujo a una escena de una película de Disney. Por cierto, no tenía ni idea que existía la técnica de Photo Studio, supongo que si asumes el reto de aplicar los colores lo más parecido a la ilustración o imagen puedes entrenar tu ojo crítico.
Gracias! En mi camino de aprendizaje he visto a ilustradores hacer Photo Studios adaptando su propio estilo de dibujo a cierta imagen o fotografía. Realmente ayuda mucho para practicar poses o escenas en general. Saludos🤗
