I hope the news is better than you expect, mate.
It is hard to think about money with animals, but I also think that it is wise to also consider the life of the pet too. He can be happy still, even if not seeing that well and the operations can be very stressful too. I don't know what is best, but I am sure you will make the right call for you guys at this time in your lives.

Marley is fine, in the end it's better than expected; due to a tick he had an infection but the vet gave us an antibiotic and some eye drops, he will probably see again, maybe not very well from the left eye but the right one could recover completely.
Obviously there will be no need for any operation!
I think this is really the law of attraction ... at the end of the whole story we only spent 17 euros on medicines and a coffee at the vet who is a friend and every time he doesn't want to take money ... but I will repay you!
The most important thing however is that Marley is well and soon he will be able to see his little brother born :-)
