technology has really impacted alot of students, really there is negative side to it, but when we look at iyt clearly we would know that technology really is helpful

It has done more good than harm in the education sector and the bad side of it is our fault and not that of technology.
Humans tend to overdo a lot of things and the lack of discipline we have with those devices is what resulted into what we refer to as bad side.
