This week's battle challenge is the heavy ranged attack untamed monster, MITICA HEADHUNTER. With a huge mana cost of 8 MITICA HEADHUNTER is well worth, due to its heavy ranged attack of 4 right from lev-1 along with Snare ability. At lev-4 it gets Piercing and at lev-8 it gets Shatter ability.

These savage hunters are from one of the two original villages of Anumün and are named for their unusually large heads, which are the first thing their prey sees, but at that point they’re as good as dinner.

I own just lev-1 MITICA HEADHUNTER and plan on upgrading it to at least lev-4 soon.

MITICA HEADHUNTER is suited for all usual battle rules like all other ranged attack monsters.

`Placement`

MITICA HEADHUNTER like all ranged attack monsters is best suited in middle back ranks from where it can inflict maximum damage.

`How to Use`

MITICA HEADHUNTER's Snare ability can be effectively used against flying monsters who are difficult to target.

MITICA HEADHUNTER can be complemented both by summoners and monsters.

Using MITICA HEADHUNTER with PRINCE RENNYN and SELENIA SKY summoner makes it even more lethal.

Protecting SELENIA SKY with shield using summoners like DRAKE OF ARNAK, or Protect ability monsters can provide extra cushion.

Positive health attribute from Strengthen ability can decently help MITICA HEADHUNTER.

MITICA HEADHUNTER have high speed, so speed related attributes like Slow, Swiftness and Blind can make it even more difficult to hit.

`Defense`

The best way to counter MITICA HEADHUNTER is by using Return Fire ability. MITICA HEADHUNTER can also be targeted by Opportunity or Snipe attack monsters.

`MY LINEUP`

`DARIA DRAGONGLASS`

Since it was a high mana battle so I decided to go with gun blazing; a heavy melee attack. So, I used dragon melee attack summoner, DARIA DRAGONGLASS.

`CHAIN GOLEM`

Up front I placed my favorite tank, CHAIN GOLEM. Having Shield, Void and Piercing abilities with decent health and attack can't ask for more.

`OAKEN BEHEMOTH`

On one down position, I placed the dice legendary OAKEN BEHEMOTH. 99 mana battle gives freedom to choose even heaviest mana monsters. The double melee and magic attack of OAKEN is indeed awesome.

`DRAGON JUMPER`

Time to introduce the Opportunity attack into the battle. So I went with legendary dragon monster, DRAGON JUMPER. The heavy opportunity melee attack makes DRAGON JUMPER a serious threat to recon with.

`MITICA HEADHUNTER`

Time for star of our show, MITICA HEADHUNTER. I placed it in mid ranks to save it from Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity attacks.

`SPIRIT OF THE FOREST`

One the second last, I place the ranged healer, SPIRIT OF THE FOREST. I love the additional Snipe attack along with Protect ability. Flying ability along with high speed also make SPIRIT OF THE FOREST quite difficult to target.

`CORNEALUS`

On the very last, came the high mana neutral legendary, CORNEALUS. Although out of healing due to Healed Out rule set, CORNEALUS can soak Sneak(Magic and Ranged) attacks due to its heavy health and also inflict damage due to Thorns & Return Fire.

`BATTLE ANALYSIS`

This battle went as planned. The enemy stood no chance against the heavy melee and ranged attack. MITICA HEADHUNTER placed her role nicely and inflected heavy damages.
