Splinterlands: The Clown Means His Business

Hello Splinterlands Fans

Time for the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge.

Costing just 4 mana, TWISTED JESTER, offers decent ranged attack along with Dodge ability. Used with SELENIA SKY it can pack a serious punch. The beta version is currently trading at 0.14$/Bcx.

Placement

TWISTED JESTER, like all ranged monsters is best suited in the back ranks. In low mana battles it can be placed at one down or last position, where it can evade ranged and melee(Sneak and Opportunity) attacks thanks to the Dodge ability.

Favored Battle Rules

TWISTED JESTER is an all rounder but it can be especially useful in low mana battles. I love to use it especially in Little League, Even Stevens, Lost Legendaries, Close Range and Equalizer battle rules.

MY BATTLE USING ARMORSMITH

This was a 99 mana battle with two battle rules, one Armored Up and second Taking Sides.

MY LINEUP

MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE

Since it was a 99 mana battle, so I decided to use 7 mana death summoner, MIMOSA NIGHTSHADE.

She is cheapest among all legendary summoners, but still I think that she is most capable among all. I especially love the affliction negative buff she grants.

UNDEAD REXX

I usually prefer CHAIN GOLOM as a tank, but since neutral were not allowed, so I used UNDEAD REXX.

CORRUPTED PEGASUS

On one down, I placed another legendary, CORRUPTED PEGASUS. I love it and need to upgrade it to have Heal ability.

PHANTOM SOLDIER

Then, I place the magic attack tank, PHANTOM SOLDIER. A great high mana card with awesome abilities like Silence, Void and Flying. Difficult to hit by ranged attacks and Magic resistant due to void, perfect!!!

FALLEN SPECTER

Then I placed FALLEN SPECTER. Although this was a high mana battle but still I used FALLEN SPECTER for the awesome negative buffs. Also it can't be killed by Magic Reflect due to Void buff by Mimosa.

TWISTED JESTER

On second last position, I placed TWISTED JESTER. It has dangerous Snipe attack and can quickly eat away the enemy back ranks if left unchecked.

GOD I love that Clown face. Fetal smile indeed.

DARK HA'ON

On the last, I placed DARK HA'ON, to introduce Taunt in the battle. Having high health along with Void from Mimosa, DARK HA'ON can certainly take a beating.

Taunt can provide relief to my tank and also save my weak monsters (FALLEN SPECTER) from opportunity attacks.

BATTLE ANALYSIS

The battle went as planed. The DARK HA'ON attracted all the enemy attention giving the rest of my team time to target the enemy at will. By the time, enemy took out DARK HA'ON, it was already too late.
