Corsica Sunset, Free Beer Included
After more than two weeks of travel around Corsica we are finally facing west. This gives us an opportunity to make some great sunset photos.
We were on the move again. From mountains to the sea with some sightseeing of our favorite city in between.
The day begun at Tattone below the Vizzavona pass. Heavy rain from yesterday was a distant memory in a fresh morning.
After the breakfast we moved to Corte, our favorite city on the island. During the walk in the upper town we discovered a geocache on the top floor of the house this photo was taken from.
Since it was lunch time we visited the parlor where the lady of the house prepares the best basela.
It's Le Dulcis on the main street.
After the lunch...

From Corte we carried on towards north. Just before reaching L'Île-Rousse we turned west from the main road. The scenic road brought us this view.
Towards north, the sea and the Corsica's finger.
And towards south, to the inland.
Beautiful in any direction you look.
We ended our day on the beach northwest of Saint-Floreunt.
It was a great day again. Corsu is beautiful.
