Fresh Bean Meal Recipe 🌿🍃

Hello Foodies.

How are you? I hope you're all good. Today I wanted a vegetable dish. More precisely, for the past few days, I have gravitated towards low-calorie foods. I thought of Fresh Beans, which I put in the freezer this summer. I love to eat green beans in summer. Sometimes I want to eat in winter, but it is difficult to find and tomatoes are not tasty in winter. I also chop the beans and roast them lightly and put them in refrigerator bags.

We call them "Winter" around here. In the past, the winter season was very cold and it was difficult to reach food. That's why people prepare foods to be eaten in the winter in the summer season. These preparations allowed them to get through the winter comfortably. This tradition still continues. Just like the cicada story. Many people work in the summer and comfortably consume these meals in the winter. This year, we prepared beans, dried phyllo, tomato paste, pickles and put them away for the winter.

Green beans with olive oil are one of our most popular dishes. Let me show you how I prepared it.

When my dietitian gave me a list to keep an eye on my weight, there would be this and similar senze dishes. That's why I think of my doctor whenever I cook this food. It has now happened. I hope he is living a happy life.


Ingredients;

  • Green beans (500gr)

  • Tomatoes (2 Pieces)

  • Onion (1 pc)

  • Olive oil (4-5 tablespoons)

  • Tomato Paste (1 tablespoon)

  • Red pepper

  • Salt

First, we chop the onions finely. I took the onion that I chopped earlier from the freezer. Then I added oil to a pan and sautéed the onions.

While the onions were roasting on low heat, I also cut the tomatoes into cubes.

My beans are less than half a kilo so I'm going to add some ingredients by reducing them. Be sure to apply the above materials exactly.

In the original recipe, the beans need to be cut into two parts. If it is longer, you should divide it into three parts. I like it whole, so I didn't chop it.

Add red pepper flakes and salt.

Onions and tomato paste were fried. Now we can add the beans.

Let's add the chopped tomatoes. It will be much better if the tomatoes are juicy. It is not the season here, so tomatoes are not as tasty and juicy as in summer. I added them anyway.

Then we will close the lid of the pot. It needs to be infused for a while on low heat with its own juice. The juice of tomatoes will also help in this regard.

Cook like this until all the water in the pot has evaporated.

Then add 1.5 glasses of water. Adjust the water yourself until the piss. I used approximately 450 500 ml of water. I added it little by little as needed. If the water runs out before the beans are cooked, add it and continue cooking.

After turning off the bottom of the stove, distribute a spoonful of olive oil on it.


Now ready for service!

Some may prefer this dish a little more juicy and with tomatoes. It even adds tiny potato chips into it. You can change it according to your taste. Still, it is quite delicious in its simple form. Especially organic olive oil suits this dish very well. We always use olive oil to make senze dishes at home. This is the least harmful oil to the human body.
