Remembering a day in January - Recordando un día de enero

January is one of those months we like best at home. Not only because it's my wife's and my birthday, but also because it's a time of year when we enjoy the beach and the outdoors.

El mes de enero es de esos meses que más nos gustan en casa. No solo porque es el mes en que mi esposa y yo cumplimos años, sino también porque es un < período del año, donde disfrutamos mucho de la playa y de la vida al aire libre.

For our family there is no better plan than to spend a nice afternoon at the beach enjoying the sun, sea and incredible sunsets.

Para nuestra familia no existe mejor plan que ir pasar una linda tarde en la playa disfrutando del sol, mar y de puestas de sol increíbles.

Thank God we are lucky to be relatively close to the beach and if the traffic accompanies us in a little more than an hour we arrive at the beach.

Gracias a Dios tenemos la suerte de estar relativamente cerca de la playa y si el tránsito acompaña en poco más de una hora llegamos a la playa.

We spent afternoons playing games, enjoying sand castles and long baths in the sea, taking advantage of the almost 25º C of the sea temperature. The day goes by very fast and when we want to realize we are watching a sunset, where it would seem that the sea swallows the sun, turning it off until dawn.

Allí pasamos tardes de juegos. de castillos de arena y de largos baños en el mar aprovechando los casi 25º C de la temperatura del mar. El día se pasa muy rápido y cuando nos queremos dar cuenta estamos observando una puesta de sol, donde parecería que el mar se traga al sol, apagandolo hasta el amanecer.

Most days we stay on the beach until night. If the weather and the wind allow it we stay there for dinner and before doing the 110 km back to our house we stop for an ice cream.

La mayoría de los días nos quedamos en la playa hasta la noche. Si el clima y el viento lo permite nos quedamos a cenar allí y antes de hacer los 110 kilómetros de regreso a nuestra casa pasamos a tomar un helado.

Already on the return trip our daughter faints in her armchair and when she gets home she keeps sleeping until the next morning; the sea air and playing in the water leaves her exhausted.

Ya en el viaje de regreso nuestra hija se desmaya en su butaca y al llegar a casa sigue durmiendo hasta la siguiente mañana; el aire de mar y el jugar en el agua la deja rendida.

How nice was this little walk through the memories of a January day.
