RE: 30-Day Blogging Challenge Day 29: MY TOP 5 ANIME

I don't know if our taste in anime could be any farther apart. :p

Attack on Titan I find incredibly boring, The Fate Series is all over the place in terms of quality, Naruto is weighed down by the anchor that is it's main characters, Bleach went all kinds of bad after Soul Society, and Deathnote was good, but the show's intrigue is far to much characters going 'I knew you were going to do this, so I had this ready!' only for the other guy to go 'Well I knew you would figure that out and do that, so I had this prepared!' That happened far to much and started to overshadow the good aspects of the show.

One PIece I hold judgement on as I'm only 95 episodes in, and I just don't care about Sports anime so I can't comment on that one.

Hello, excuse me, but what are you based on to say that about SNK?

I watched the first two seasons. For a show with such great animations, almost all the fights were incredibly boring. There were only two that actually kept me interested, that being against the Female Titan and when one of the other students turned into the smaller titan that was really agile (I forget her name).

The lead character I find uninteresting as he really only seemed to show two emotions the entire time, and the comedy relief the show throws in feels so out of place.

Not to mention the 'twist' that the titans were all originally people I saw coming since the first episode.

I understand your point but an anime does not have to simply have fights to be good or interesting cases like Deaht Note, Monster or even Boku Dake proves it although if it is true the fights are not that entertaining.

Eren is regular, neither he is the best protagonists nor he is the worst only that he acts natural, not all are Super Saiyan or have super powers and although we are accustomed to that in the Shonen demographics, it seems to me that characters like Shinji are the best because they are natural.

That if hahaha it was very obvious about the twist but hey although we do not expect it in general line the anime is very good from my opinion because in addition to Kimetsu or One Piece Isayama's work has gotten good reviews and sales (I know SAO is the same but good There are exceptions>. <) and I find the story super entertaining, taking animes out of the ordinary.

I agree anime's don't have to have fights, MOnster as you pointed out is fantastic. I did a top 20 list of my favorite anime and that was my number one.

That said, Attack on Titan has a lot of action in it, Monster does not. With a higher focus on the action, how good it is has a bigger impact on the show. Most of the titan fights are just watching people zoom around looking flashy, and that happens over and over until the Female Titan Shows up.

And I would like to add that when Monster does have action scenes, they are always fantastic.

That's alright, we have our own preferences. I'm glad you've reached the 95th episode of one piece. :D

I am developing a love/Hate relationship with that show so far. The good is really good, but the things that bother me really, really bother me. :p
