I am probably writing something not of any value to you, because we all know that the speed of value transfer in Hive is amazingly fast.

Nevertheless, I was inspired to write this post because I just sent some Hive to myself from my second account.

After I hit sent, I refreshed the destination account and I could see my Hive added there immediately.

Against the backdrop of BTC climbing back up to 20K, I am instead impressed with the speed of value transfer or transaction in Hive.

The thing is I do have some sats, and I used to pay the crazy fees to send them between wallets. If you have done so too, you would have experienced the anxiety from simply waiting for the transaction to go through.

When I contrast that with the experience I am getting on Hive, i.e. feeless and immediate, I wonder why we need other blockchains.

I can already envision me sending Hive or HBD to my friends to split the bill in the future instead of using the bank system.

The Hive blockchain with its feeless and immediate value transfer can replace the legacy systems as it is, or with some modifications.

The future is going to be amazing when we use Hive to pay for coffee!
