I always wondered about the sugar skulls. The Mexican 1 Peso is a very nice find, and getting it at melt value was even better!

As usual, excellent writing! The suspense is awesome. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!

Take care, sista!💜🤗

I'm always fascinated on how other cultures celebrate Halloween and the Mexican Dias de los Muertos is celebrated with such joy and revelry rather than in saddness and darkness. Conversely, and just as profound are how Funerals are practiced in New Orleans, not to mourn the loss, but by joyfully the celebrating the life of the deceased. I wonder if it is sort of a certain Southern Baptist style of thing.

Thanks for the comment sis @elizabethbit

I'm not sure; I know here, most funerals are considered a celebration of life, so maybe not. My mom was from the south and when someone passed, it was a serious and sad affair. Anyway, it is interesting how things are viewed from one place to another. Take care @kerrislravenhill!
