rehearsal [Exhaust Running Report, September 5th 2020]

A short late afternoon run to check the track for tomorrow morning and the Pohorje Ultratrail Challenge 17K.

The height profile should be a symmetrical graph. I took the road from home to the approaching climb (1.7 K), then followed the ridge trail towards southeast (0.6 K), did one lap od descent / ascent on the designated hill section (2 x 0.41 K), then returned back hom ethe same way.

For tomorrow early in the morning, this is the plan.

Approach - 2.3 K
Nine repeats of the up and downhill section - 7.4 K
Return with and additional sidestep - 2 x 2.3 K
Back home - 2.3 K

All added together it will result in 16.6 K distance and at least 710 meters of climb.

Tomorrow will tell how acurate my plan was.
