First signs of resistance visible...

After more than a month of exploitation and abuse, the first signs of resistance are clearly visible on the streets of Antwerp.

Frequent and excessive exposure to sunlight, the lack of protective equipment such as mouth masks and gloves, the many unpaid overtime ... these are some of the factors that have been accused by the teddy bear union several times.

Charlie here was tired of not being heard. After consultation with his union leader, he decided to go on strike. He left his window and his battered friends and chained himself to the front door...
In this way and by chanting typical bear slogans, he hopes to make the problem more known to the general public.

In their own words, the bears have no problem showing solidarity in this lockdown period. Moreover, they greatly appreciate the renewed attention that children and adults have for them, but this must be done with respect for working conditions.

After this Antwerp example, many other actions are expected throughout the country…
