Hello!

I recently told you that Miro started asking me to bring him with me to shoot photos.

So I did. Well not quite, I was going out for a walk with Ninnu, and let Miro come along with the camera.

I let him do all of the shooting. (Most of it anyway, I did manage to shoot a photo or two of him taking photos though.)

I just set the camera on aperture priority mode (AV on Canon, AE on Nikon), and told him that today we'll be learning about what to shoot, and little bit about the proper and steady posture.

I don't want to go too fast to not overwhelm him with information though, so I held back teaching anything beyond the AV mode... Until he asked how he could take a photo of moving water in a way that it looks sharp and motionless. I had to teach him a bit about the shutter priority mode (Tv) too.


After the photo session, Miro wanted me to teach him how to edit them. So I did.

Miro is now a quite capable photographer.

How beautiful is Miro! I congratulate you for accepting his request to go photograph with you and to teach him little by little. Perhaps he has great potential and can be an extraordinary photographer. God bless him and you. A big hug.
