You thought of the Noses too, Jo 😁 but you have found more nice Nose photos and tell us a lot of information, even about these annoying hairs 😉
A few days ago I have heard the word Nostrils for the first time - someone told me he had Nostrils like tunnels 🤣

Nature was also one of my first thoughts and I like your Blue Heron a lot - the image looks great with that reflection in the water. It looks like you took the photo early in the morning with still some morning mist over the water, cool 😃

Number Nine and Newspaper or Newsprint, why didn't I think of such? Maybe because I'm just too complicated and I have been so fixated on Neowise, who didn't want to get photographed by me and was hiding behind clouds every night ;)

Haha, nose hairs can be unsightly. I always notice them if folks don’t keep them trimmed....ugh!🤪

I captured the shot of the Heron one morning but not sure if it was a mist or just how the photo turned out.😀

It would have been great to get a shot of Neowise Johann. 💫 Apparently the comet was closest to the earth yesterday.

Yeah these ugly Nose hair, I didn't have them when I was younger, but I always try to cut them ... I try if I don't forget 😉

It looks like mist - it is mist 🙂

I know, but it rained yesterday as well as it looks like rain today, but my app "clear outside" says there's a chance tomorrow night.
I'm working anyway over night, so I might find some time to have a look at the sky 🌠

Hi Johann. You must be sleeping now if working at night. Is that a normal part of your job to stay overnight sometimes? I hope you got to see Neowise.

Hi Jo,

I think I have written something wrong in my reply :) I am working today and tonight, 24 hours all in all, what means I started at 7:30 and I will go home tomorrow morning, but if all is quiet I should find some hours of sleep tonight. And if the sky is clear tonight I hope I can see Neowise from here.
Yes, it's a normal part of my job. I'm sorry, but I thought I have already told you that I work 2 or three times a month for 24 hours. It's just a kind of security job with monitors and such and I get additionally paid for that.

We had another rainy night and wet morning, but at midday the weather turned nice and I believe it will stay clear over night 😊

So, I'm working, but I hope you have a wonderful day and weekend, Jo 😊

Morning Johann. You never wrote anything wrong. I forgot you worked nights sometimes. Neowise was on the TV news last night.

It rained here last night and cooled off nicely. The day have been in the high 20s and too hot for a walk on the trail. I’ve been to Charlottetown and also met a few friends at the coffee shop.

Not much going on. Nothing new in the wildlife around here.

Good morning Jo,

OK, I just don't remember all what I have told or not 😁 lol

Our night was clear, but in the north of our office there's a mountain range. It's not very high, but high enough that Neowise has been behind it the whole night long. I got outside at 2:30 in the morning, but I couldn't see the comet. Maybe tonight will be clear too, although it looks rainy. If it's clear I know a better place where I might have a chance to see it. That's the problem when you live between mountains - you cannot see the horizon like in flat lands 😉

As said, here it looks rainy and the temperatures are very nice. If it stays dry I might go for a walk in the afternoon, but I don't know yet, because I'm a bit tired from yesterday and a short night 😴

So, Peppy hasn't shown up? But I bet the raccoon was here for some cat food 🙂

Good evening Johann. Perhaps you will see Neowise yet.💥 The comet is suppose to be visible for about 8 more days? It’s raining here now so I wouldn’t be able to see anything in the sky.

The mischievous raccoon is having free rein with Peppy not showing up. He eats all the food and carries on his way. I bring the hummingbird feeder in each evening.

yes, I might see it today if the comet isn't too low over the horizon, because to the north there are so many mountains ... I'll see ;)

The raccoon isn't stupid and takes his chance while Peppy is on vacation 😉

Morning Johann. I’m up early this morning and having a coffee. No reason, I just woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep. The fog was heavy but now starting to clear. The temp is predicted to go to 25C today. That’s nice weather. Vehicles were going slow on the highway but I see they are back to the usual speeding now the fog is lifting.

I’m hoping you get a shot of Neowise. Even if I see the comet, I don’t have a lens to capture it clearly.

Peppy is still absence. Peppy could have moved around looking for a mate. Or if female I would love to see Peppy return with little ones trailing behind.

Hi Jo,

that happens to me quite often too. On working days I usually try to sleep on until it's time, but on weekends I often get up.

We have 25C and a cloudless sky. So we might have a clear night too. Now I can only hope that the spot I want to go tonight will be the right one to see the comet. Otherwise I'll try to drive higher up on a mountain at the weekend.

Wow, that would be cool if Peppy was female and would come back with a few little skunk babies 😁

I hope your day will be nice but not too hot for you 😊
