CYCLE OF ABUSE ๐Ÿ›‘

(Edited)

I could have gone to the gym today but I choose to do that tomorrow. The gym is not going anywhere! Anyway, tomorrow will come and I would still be here. Truth is, I really have no plans of going to any gym because I'm definitely not ready to bow to peer pressure in any form.

Gym requires hard work and dedication. two things I do not have( to spare). In other to get results, I will have to lift weights that are already stronger than me for six months. Six months? If you know me, you would know this is not something I can, or should I say I will be willing to do. Hun, I need instant results. like five minutes or something, Can't I just do seven push-ups and leave?

Okay letโ€™s agree that a miracle happens and I start going to the gym. I woke up every day, and lift weights consistently for six months. I finally get the body that I want and then what next? I will now have to start starving myself or eating food that I do not like all in the stupid name of "eating healthy" just to maintain a body that I have suffered six months to gain. Madness!

That clearly is a cycle of abuse and if you see it otherwise then you really should have been born at the time of Christopher Columbus, because honestly, you look like someone who enjoys hard labor and that is not very different from slavery.

If it is not peer pressure then tell me why you will do consistent hard labor for six months only to be having six packs on your stomach. Struggling to lift heavy weights and sweat every day like a thief on the run, consistently for six months only to have a stomach that looks like you have swallowed a sack of pebbles. That clearly sounds like someone who is addicted to stress, something I am very far away from.

Can you not see this smooth silky vaseline skin of mine? You can not look like this by doing labor on purpose!

Ahah๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
But you can still go to the gym and do normal exercises instead of heavy lifting errh๐Ÿ™„

You have a point as to how you see it. But to some people, it isn't just about the body they gain or the shape they have and wants to maintain. To them, it's a dream they are living. It is their way of burning down fat rather than running along the road or going to the field for soccer. For it is, it's worth it

You have a point though. Thanks for sharing.

This got me laughing my brains out๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚, not a sack of pebbles๐Ÿ˜„

More seriously though, it depends on the perspective or point of view.
You're focusing more on the stressful aspect of it which, if you want to achieve anything in life you have to put in work. And it is going to be stressful.

You're complaining about it, and you have every right to do so, but yet there are thousands of people that gym day in day out. They may do so because of peer pressure but that can't be the only reason.
It's not about the looks or trying to impress people.

It improves every aspect of your life, starting from your mindset, to your behavior to habits you pick up. It sets you on the track to success. And it doesn't necessarily have to be gyming, any form of exercise can do this for you.

Last last, no be by force but don't knock it till you try it.
This was very amusing to read though๐Ÿ˜„. Nice work!

Sadly the abuse to our bodies is not going to the gym and eating the poor things that the modern diet entails. If you get into a good routine then you will feel better and be more productive and also have more energy and motivation. Thereโ€™s a lot of benefits of getting into a good gym routine!
