You could go everywhere, everywhere given time and a strong stomach on one of those tall ships in bygone years.
Adventurous destinations, tight discomfort locked beneath the bows, this never stopped travelers finding new lands under protection of figurehead on the bow.
Anywhere you go today you have to pay to see, nice visit to tall ships with plenty of ropes Denise. Great photography and detail to get the mind wandering once again.

Oh, I have my doubts I would have lasted on one of those tall ships crossing the ocean. I shudder to think of those top-heavy voyagers battling the waves rolling in the Atlantic.
The area below deck is dark and dank, so I will take my hammock and sleep up topside. I love figureheads! I almost bought one for a small ship in Norway, but, knew customs would never let me take it with me. :)

Definitely no five course meals, more often ended up with scurvy. Lack of toilets and sleeping areas, swaying around in a hammock must have been a nightmare.
Long voyages in those old wooden ships creaking their way over, definitely only very special people would go voluntarily.
Everything comes with a price tag today, I am surprised not all have sell by dates yet Denise.
Everything does come with a price tag, it seems, even some friendships.
Le sigh.

Isn't life strange, yes many look into something asking "what is in it for me", while others are there saying "how can I improve others good fortune around here", tis life....
But time and tide wait for no-one we need to dust off and move on when realizing the fake from the genuine.
