Rules to Win Prizes for HIVE-PUD12 :

MUST have a reputation score BELOW 70.00 ( so 69.99 is good & Can participate.) AND more than 300 HIVE POWER (prior to HIVE-PUD12) BUT LESS than 8000 HIVE Power.
MUST have a reputation score of 39 & ABOVE (so rank of 38.99 will Not Win)

MUST have at least 1 HIVE Post in their blog about HIVE-PUD12

MUST Power Up HIVE COIN on APRIL 1st, 2020

On APRIL 1st, you MUST make a post about your POWER UP. It can be as simple as "I powered up X amount of HIVE COIN" to a simple picture/screenshot of your Power Up and posted to your HIVE blog, or it could be a super long dissertation on HIVE Power. IMPORTANT: SHOULD USE HIVE-PUD12 Hash tag so that I can be sure to see them.

The winners Must meet all 5 requirements, and it will be based on the Biggest HIVE Power Up PERCENTAGE, not the biggest Power Up. This means that it will be based on the ratio between your current amount of HIVE Power and the amount you power up on APRIL 1st.

For Example:

If you have 1000 HIVE Power already powered up prior to APRIL 1, and on APRIL 1 you complete steps 1-5 with a 100 HIVE Power Up,

and

another HIVE member has 300 HIVE Powered up prior to APRIL 1, and on APRIL 1st Powers Up 60 HIVE Coin, then this 2nd user would be winning with a 20% power up versus the first example with a bigger power up but smaller percentage of only 10% based on their account.

The winners will be announced via a HIVE Post a few days later or sooner, and if no one challenges it or lets me know I missed them after 1 day from Winner Announcement, the Winners become official and the prizes will then be given out.

Was wondering when you will do HIVE PUD :D Sadly, I won't participate in this one as I'm still waiting for the price to correct a little to the downside. Maybe in the next one.

But I'll try to redo that post I did for Steem (this time in terms of HIVE) on one of your past SPUD's.

Why the 300 HIVE POWER minimum to participate? I work with a project that seeks to help new users to the blockchain to get their footing here, and it seems that anyone who PowersUp should be eligible (except, of course, for high-Rep/high-SP accounts).

Hi @thekittygirl. Yes, I saw that increase from 250 to 300 minimum HP. That will eliminate some small accounts from participating.

Hello @thekittygirl It is just a set standard that I hope doesn't keep out too many but also doesn't allow for someone trying to "game" the rules. It mattered more on the other blockchain since we had over 16,000 in Power Up Prizes. Thanks for your interest in #hive-pud take care.

a few spuds ago I had the idea of delegating some smaller SP to the smaller players.. something small, but shows we love'em.. then all the Sun drama hit..

I'm not in a place I could do it now, but having come second/third or something in this thing, I have to say getting an SP boost boosts your motivation for sure!

This is awesome and I love the idea :)!

Too bad for me that I was ahead of the game! Had 1500 SP before the fork, bought 5k STEEM before the split, then right after the fork I sold the 5k STEEM and powered up the 5k HIVE. So that right there was a 350%~ increase in my HIVE powered up!

Now I'm sitting at 7.5k HP, technically qualifying for this contest, but I definitely can't afford to throw a few grand at my HIVE :P That was my investment LOL

I hope this makes a few Minnows very happy! Thank you for hosting this contest :) This is an awesome idea!

@rishi556 This event carried over from the steem blockchain, and occurs the 1st of each month. The prize Delegations are 3 weeks, giving 1 week to undelegate since it takes that long before going into effect, and thus ready to sponsor the same prize for the next #hive-pud
