Neoxian City Photo Challenge - Gaia's Spinners - Autumnal Photography

IMGP5266_1600.JPG
This is an older picture in my collection, dating from September 2009. It was taken with my Pentax K100D in my own front garden in Warminster, Wiltshire, England.

One morning, it was misting and rainy (common in England) and I noticed all the new spiderwebs, including on my Japanese maple which was just starting to turn color. This was the best of my set of photos that morning.

For clarity sake, I do have several versions of this image for sale at RedBubble - there may be some others around still too, but they should all point back to me (Viking Visual/Photography).

I re-edited this work fresh for the Neoxian City Photo Challenge (partly because I can't find the previous edits right now! At least I still had the original!)

Crossposted at Steem, Whaleshares, WeKu, Hyperspace.

@neoxian-city has putting up some interesting contests. They are a lot more active than PalNet. That's for sure! 😎

Nice photo, @viking-ventures!

I love the way the colors are broken by the white of the spider web :)

I think that's one of the reasons why I love this image so much! Thanks for stopping by.

Amazing spider net ^^ .. it is so fascinating how those tiny beings can create such huge and complex structures out of the nothing ;)
