300 meters of Nevsky Prospect (30 photo)

On Nevsky Prospect of St. Petersburg (Russia) I walked only about 300 meters. But at first I just stood in one place, spun and filmed.

Then I installed a wide-angle lens on the iPad and still shot. I wanted to compare the results.

I left Nevsky Prospect from the metro at Gostiny Dvor and walked to another exit of the same metro hub. It was the Griboedov Canal. Only 300 meters. I needed to get back on the subway and drive on.

По Невскому проспекту Санк-Петербурга (Россия) я прошёл всего около 300 метров. Но вначале я просто стоял на одном месте, крутился и снимал.

Потом я установил на iPad широкоугольный объектив и ещё снимал. Мне хотелось сравнить результаты.

Я вышел на Невский проспект из метро у Гостинного Двора и прошёл до другого выхода этого же узла метро. Это был канал Грибоедова. Всего 300 метров. Мне нужно было опять в метро и ехать дальше.

This picture was taken from the same point as the previous 4. But the first ones were made with a wide-angle lens, and this one is just on the iPad. Compare pictures in height. The width of the top photo is cropped to a square format.

Этот снимок сделан из той же точки, что и 4 предыдущих. Но первые были сделаны с широкоугольным объективом, а этот просто на iPad. Сравните снимки по высоте. Ширина верхних обрезана до формата квадрата.

This is the external gallery of the Gostiny Dvor. The last shot was taken with the lens, geometry distortions are visible.

Это внешняя галерея Гостинного Двора. Последний снимок сделан с объективом, видны искажения геометрии.

All this is in front of the Gostiny Dvor. It is a pity that I was limited in time and in a little hurry.

Всё это находится перед Гостинным Двором. Жаль, что я был ограничен временем и немного торопился.

Finally, I started moving past the Duma building. In the second photo on the right there is a blue building and next to it is a spire with a ball at the end. This is the end point of my movement.

Наконец я начал движение мимо здания Думы. На втором фото справа есть голубое здание и рядом шпиль с шаром на конце. Это конечная точка моего движения.

In this place, on the other side of Nevsky Prospekt, in good weather, artists gather. They sell paintings here, but they can also paint your portrait or cartoon. Today there were few people.

В этом месте на другой стороне Невского проспекта в хорошую погоду собираются художники. Здесь продают картины, но могут и нарисовать ваш портрет или шарж. Сегодня здесь было мало народу.

Now ourThis is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. "Singer Company" - it is so written on the facade. Now this is the House of Books - a large book supermarket. path lies along the wild shore of Lake Baikal. We leave the village and we will go until the road ends.

Это одно из самых красивых зданий города. "Компания Зингер"- так написано на фасаде. Сейчас это Дом Книги - большой книжный супермаркет.
