Interval run




The day begin with several snoozes before I managed to really get my feet on the ground and get moving. For some reason I just couldn't get myself off the bed until 7am. And that was the final alarm I managed to kick myself off the bed. Today's training program is an interval sprint program going for total 1.8km only. I did all the sprint and between resting time I did pace walking to regulate my breathing instead of stopping there. Total distance is about 5km, and did all that within an hour.


I'm thinking of going back to full scale running from tomorrow onwards. I wouldn't know if my body is ready until I try. If I had to push it harder now, I'm afraid if I will injure myself. Do you guys have any idea how to "get started"? I always wanted to be a pro runner, but somehow there's always enough excuse to stop me from continuous training. Do you need a workout buddy to cross monitor and motivating each other? Will you pick a slower runner or a faster runner. I could use a slower runner, but that makes me even slower because I'll have to wait for my partner. But I guess the general rules of going slower applied. Which means if I pick a faster runner, he/she will have to wait for me, that differ the purpose of having a workout partner, don't you think?

Healthy breakfast




Subway chicken sliced wrap is my top favorite now. According to the nutrition guide, this thing has the most fiber, balanced amount of meat protein, and calories count below 200kcal. Junior is having his 6 inches hearty Italian at the background. He is allowed to eat all his can, and still be able to burn them off. I just checked our difference in foot step, he does about 15k steps today, and I only did 5.8k. How is that justify? That's because I control bigger body mass, I have bigger muscle, I have longer leg. Which makes my energy consumption become extremely efficient, what bad about it is, I will have a lot of excessive energy and unfortunately they're going to ultimately convert to blood sugar and fianlly become fat.

Less healthy lunch




Boy ditched me and sister, so I bring along the girl went for fried chicken meal as lunch. She took one chicken, the coleslaw, whipped potato and a bowl of rice. I did two fried chicken, and the bread came with the meal. Both of us share a big cup of Milo, I'm sure this meal easily put me up some 800kcal.

Lego evening at One Utama




This was at the parking area as we arrived at One Utama, right infront is the MRT track. It iused to be a very beautiful street view, but now it's partially blocked by the train track.


Tried once more with panoramic view, but the light exposure just didn't work with me. Sorry guys, unable to show you the beautiful scene.


This place used to have a suspended 4 sided display right at the middle of the oval. Believe they're in the middle of some refurbrishment job doing to the mall. Notice ground floor they have moved all those railing, believe to be going to reinstall new tiles and railing, or who knows they're going to install more booth for small business?


And the kids are having some fun playing with those blocks which adults are not against it out of the house, but those blocks are killer at home when you have one small piece on the floor and you accidentally stepped on it.

Extremely sinful dinner




After Lego session, I went searched around for good food. Come to think of it, we had McDonald's yesterday, we had KFC this afternoon, and ended up went for Burger King and I took this double patty bacon burger. Can't remember the name, but I'm sure this thing can easily store me enough fat to get by entire winter(only if we have one in Malaysia).


Last but not lease, the day had finally concluded. We went home way after shopping mall closing time. By the time we reached our car, the car park light already turned off. And due to the low light, finally my phone camera able to auto adjust it's ISO and ladies and genglemen, the pretty moon is up. I wish you all have a good day, those who are around my time zone should be asleep already.

If you want to run long distance, the only thing you need to pay attention is your pulse/breathing. If you can control your pulse, keep it low, then you can run long distance.

I'd say don't pick any partner, fast or slow, keep your breathing at comfortable level (still aerobe zone) and you'll be fine.

This is a very slippery road, many are going it wrong, thinking that fast run will lead to long distance running but that is not true. You have to train your lungs, give them time to adapt for the new task. Muscles adapt faster, lungs don't.

But then again, you do as you please, this is only my opinion based on a few years of experience.

This is really useful! Now I got the idea. So, pacing is most important. I really got the strength to do more, but usually I got exhausted earlier long before my muscles start to complain.
