Neoxian City: Writing Prompt #4

The world is evolving with different rights being made into law on a daily basis. Sometimes these rights give children around the globe an excuse to misbehave or to take advantage. This can be a headache for parents. With this in mind - we will introduce the fourth edition of the Neoxian City writing prompt.

This is a monthly event where a prompt is shared. You can write a story based on the prompt below.

Before you get started, please read the following guidelines which can always be found in the #city-prompt.

Guidelines
a.Write your entries using the Neoxian City frontend.
b.Use #neoxianprompts as the first tag.
c.Posts should be in English and have 300 – 1000 words.
d.The usual Hive community rules are applicable - no plagiarism, no NSFW etc.
e.Only 1 entry is allowed.
f.Share your post link below in the comment section of the post.
g.Read and comment on the posts of the other writers. Engagement is optional but we encourage you to read and comment on the posts of at least 2 other #neoxianprompts writers.

Neoxian City - Prompt #4

Spare the rod and spoil the child – write a story which expresses how you feel about this – it can be real or fictitious.

Please write your most creative, original and engaging post.

Deadline – You have until Friday 21st April 2023 @ 8am UTC.

Oh I don't know, it is due tomorrow I think and I have to write my generations prompt post (I hope yours is in the pipework hehe) but maybe I shall, I seem to having all day on Hive for the first time in a long long time, so I may well have time on my hands..

I got here through reading the entry from the wonderful @wongi I keep seeing these prompts from you but always am too slow, but I like the thought of making a post with a different take. We shall see, either way it is a great opportunity to engage on some I am sure posts!
