A favorite snack is fried food, although sometimes fried food is not very good to consume in large quantities. But isn't fried food always very tasty especially when the snack is processed from vegan ingredients, of course this will be new to all of you.

So this time I will invite you to make one of the simple snack recipes from tempeh. Of course tempeh in my country is very abundant and the price is very cheap so don't be surprised that there are so many tempeh preparations that can be processed at home. Including this snack.

Spicy Vermicelli Tempeh Roll

20241113_112235.jpg

Vermicelli cooked spicy with devil chili then rolled with thinly sliced tempeh. This is one snack that you must try, it tastes very good made from vegan, of course it won't make you worry about enjoying it. I actually found this recipe inspired by my school snacks back in the day. They fried tempeh in flour but the filling was not vegan. So to modify the recipe a bit, I had the idea of replacing it with vermicelli, which I thought would be very tasty. Besides vermicelli, you can also replace it with other noodles that you like.

Preparing to make tempeh rolls is not as easy as you might think, there is more effort involved when trying to slice the tempeh as thin as possible for the best rolls. I suggest you use a thin sharp knife so that making tempeh slices becomes easier. Hopefully you will succeed in doing this later! Let's do the preparation!

Ingredients Needed

Presentation Suggestion

Deep-fried tempeh rolls are so delicious, this snack is perfect served with sauce, be it chili sauce, or any other sauce of your choice. I highly recommend this snack for you to make at home. The most surprising thing is that the crispy outside with the tempeh rolls adds a really delicious flavor. I am so glad that this snack is the perfect result for a relaxing snack.

Well for those of you who don't want to spin, you can fry it in an airfryer for better results, it will also taste just as crispy outside with the spiciness of the vermicelli stir-fried with devil chili. Just imagine enjoying this while relaxing with fresh fruit juice. It must be very delicious isn't it?

It looks delicious. I don't know what is tempeh, I haven't seen that here where I live, but I'll try this recipe with other things that comes to my mind. Thank you for sharing it with us.

PS: Check out step 10, you say 'Add one spoon of tempeh on the surface of the tempeh'.

Tempeh is a processed soybean that is cemented you can find it in Asian stores, usually sold fresh. Well for vegan dishes this is an excellent source of protein besides tofu.

I wrote it wrong, oh I meant the addition of vermicelli in the tempeh rolls.

The rolls would be delicious. It was a creative way to use tempeh. They also look really appealing. I love the sound of "devil chili".😆
