Hallo liebe Community,
nach dem tollen Mittagessen bei der Cheesecake Factory gingen wir in den Endspurt unseres Urlaubs. Wir liehen und zwei Bikes und ein Tandem und machten uns auf den Weg die Strandpromenade entlang nach Venice Beach. Nicht ganz so nobel wir Santa Monica aber durchaus mit seinem eigenen Reiz.

Überall Menschen in Muscle Shirt und an Trainingsgeräten die ihre Muskeln stählten. Ein shop mit coolen Shirts nach dem anderen. Da tobte das Leben.

Extrem cool waren die Skater, die zu lauter Musik einen heftigen Tanz aufs Parkett legten. In der Halfpipe zeigten die Pros ihr können, so dass wir nicht anders konnten als eine halbe Stunden lang zuzuschauen. Krass was die auf dem Board alles drauf haben. Da waren sogar 10 jährige, die Tricks drauf hatten, die ich so auch noch nicht gesehen hatte.

Auch bei den Basketballplätzen konnten wir uns etwas verweilen und den Spielern zuschauen. Da waren teilweise Cracks dabei, die sogar Dunkings machten. Wirklich cool und ein würdiger Abschluss unserer Tour.

Nachdem wir die Räder wieder abgegeben hatten, ging es ab zurück ins Hotel, wo wir langsam unsere Sachen für den Rückflug nach Deutschland packen mussten. Unseren Uber zum Flughafen hatten wir für 3:00 Uhr bestellt und waren durchaus etwas traurig, dass unser Abenteuer Kalifornien Roadtrip bald zu Ende sein sollte.

Hello dear community,
after the great lunch at the Cheesecake Factory we went into the final spurt of our vacation. We rented two bikes and a tandem and made our way along the boardwalk to Venice Beach. Not quite as posh as Santa Monica but definitely with its own charm.

Everywhere people in muscle shirts and on training equipment that steeled their muscles. One store with cool shirts after the other. There was a lot of life going on.

Extremely cool were the skaters, who danced to loud music. In the halfpipe, the pros showed their skills, so that we could not help but watch for half an hour. Crass what they have on the board everything on it. There were even 10 year olds who had tricks on it, which I had never seen before.

Also at the basketball courts we could linger a bit and watch the players. There were some cracks who even made dunkings. Really cool and a worthy conclusion of our tour.

After we returned the bikes, we went back to the hotel, where we slowly had to pack our things for the flight back to Germany. Our Uber to the airport we had ordered for 3:00 o'clock and were quite a bit sad that our adventure California Roadtrip should be soon at the end.
