One of my acquaintance succeeded to get a job in this tough time.
She is a very socialized person not to fear sharing her own experience and knowledge. So she shared all her job hunting progress by Tweet.

She quit her job around a half year ago.
Why? Just wanted to take a long rest and have fun in the last several months.
She is that sort of person.

As a result, she succeeded to get a good job that her salary increased and could choose the position that she had wanted.
This is her own analysis why she could be successful in getting a new job.

1. She had focused and concentrated on just one her major field
2. What she had focused was “Right place at the right timing”
3. She was not in a hurry while focusing on improving her own capability
4. Career network - Help other around you sincerely
   So with all these points, she experienced to get a job and having higher level.

Focusing on improving your capability

She worked very well in the previous workplace, so hesitated to change her workplace.
In a hesitant manner, she started to find new job and then knew that there were many companies that need her so eagerly. Of course, her salary rose.
She thought that it was necessary to have at least two strong and attractive job offers, it would not be enough to have just one job offer.

At that time, she had three job offer in her hand. Two of them were where she wanted to go so her salary negotiation was done very well.

While she was in negotiation between two companies saying that “I am very eager to wort with you, but the salary is not...”, the two companies all raise her level one more higher position.
If she had just one option in her hand, she have had accepted the job offer without that negotiation.

She told that she became a bit as proud as peacock thinking that she may have underestimated herself.
We sometimes think that we are not valued as much as we have worked or we are working now. If it is really true, your value may be revalidated at some point of time and could get things in accordance with the revalidation.
She highly recommended that you should not be restricted by or fretful with sallary or promotion, focusing on your specific field and improving yourself.
As of her own criteria, she would remain in this attitude and mind for 20 years.
