Appreciate your efforts to inspire content creators. You guys simply make steeming more fun and rewarding. Thanks to @ewkaw and @curangel for considering my post. It was unexpected.
My pleasure :)
Gave me an idea what to do with the candles leftovers I have now.
Great! But if somehow it doesn't work with your leftovers, just give me a buzz and I'll ask my wife what could be wrong. Oh btw, I just followed you.
It has to work :D
My wife said it would be faster if the chunks or grated candle be boiled for melting in a separate stainless steel bowl(or any heat resistant bowl) instead of in the glass jars because most of these are not boil proof and may crack due to the heat of the boiling water. Then when the chunks have melted in the steel bowl you just pour it inside the glass jars or containers and wait for it to harden. (I missed this in my post, my bad).
How do you clean the pot/bowl from the wax?
Or is it better to get one just for that knowing I will not cook in it anymore?
My wife bought one just for that purpose. She does not use it for cooking.
Okay thanks! I guess that makes it all a lot easier :)
Now I know it will work. Best of luck. Keep me posted.
@curangel @anggreklestari, thank you for all of your support, your curation efforts have been so encouraging. This is a pleasant surprise—happy Friday!
